Rachel Morrison is an American cinematographer and the first woman ever nominated for the Academy Award for Best Cinematography for her work on Mudbound (2017). She is also known for shooting Black Panther (2018) — one of the highest-grossing films of all time. Her other credits include Dope, Fruitvale Station, and Baker. Morrison is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers and an advocate for inclusion in below-the-line roles.
